The International Council for Traditional Music (ICTM) is a UNESCO non-governmental organisation whose aims are to further the study, practice, documentation, preservation and dissemination of traditional music, including folk, popular, classical and urban music, as well as dance of all countries.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina National Committee of ICTM is one of thirty-three National Committees of ICTM. It is concerned with research and protection of intangible cultural heritage in the field of traditional music in Bosnia and Herzegovina, its promotion and popularization locally and worldwide
