Muzičko nasljeđe Bosne i Hercegovine

u povodu pet godina od osnivanja ICTM Nacionalnog komiteta u Bosni i Hercegovini i 20. godina od osnivanja Muzikološkog društva FBiH

ICTM Nacionalni komitet u Bosni i Hercegovini i Muzikološko društvo FBiH organiziraju Naučni skup u povodu pet godina od osnivanja ICTM Nacionalnog komiteta u Bosni i Hercegovini i 20. godina od osnivanja Muzikološkog društva FBiH. Naučni skup ima za cilj da okupi  istraživače koji će prezentirati nova terenska i arhivska istraživanja iz oblasti muzikologije i etnomuzikologije. Teme Naučnog skupa su:

– Historijski izvori i istraživanja bosanskohercegovačke muzike

– Promocija, korištenje i očuvanje nematerijalnog naslijeđa kao razvojnog resursa

– Nova terenska i arhivska istraživanja.

Sažetak do 300 riječi, kontakt informacije i CV (do 150 riječi) slati na email bihictm@gmail.com najkasnije do 1.11.2017. godine. Programski odbor konferencije će poslati obavijest o prihvaćenim radovima najkasnije do 1.12.2017. godine.

Naučni skup u čast 120-godišnjice rođenja prvog bosanskohercegovačkog etnomuzikologa fra dr. Branka Marića

Ove godine se navršava 120 godina od rođenja i 80 godina od sticanja titule doktora filozofskih nauka (oblast etnomuzikologija) fra dr. Branka Marića. Institut za muzikologiju Muzičke akademije Univerziteta u Sarajevu i Hercegovačka franjevačka provincija Mostar objavili su Zbornik radova u čast 120-godišnjice rođenja prvog bosanskohercegovačkog etnomuzikologa fra dr. Branka Marića. ICTM Nacionalni komitet u Bosni i Hercegovini organizira jednodnevni Naučni skup na kome će biti predstavljeni radovi objavljeni u Zborniku. Skup će se održati u prostorijama Muzičke akademije Univerziteta u Sarajevu, Josipa Stadlera 1/II (mala sala), 15. 12. 2016. godine, sa početkom u 11h, pod pokroviteljstvom Ministarstva obrazovanja i nauke Kantona Sarajevo.

SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE: CELEBRATION OF IMPORTANT ANNIVERSARIES OF MUSICOLOGY AND ETHNOMUSICOLOGY IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Academy of Music in Sarajevo, Musicological Society of FB&H, ICTM National Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina are celebrating several important anniversaries: 65 years of bh. ethnomusicology, 60 years of bh. musicology, 15 years of Musicological Society, 10 years of Institute for musicology and first anniversary of ICTM National Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina. For listed anniversaries, one-day long scientific conference will be organized on November 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the hall of Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bistrik 7, 71 000 Sarajevo.
By organizing scientific conference, we want to emphasize the development of musical science in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as its significance in education of younger people. The aim is to remember important musicologists and ethnomusicologists which affected affirmation of bh. musicology and ethnomusicology within the borders, as  well as beyond the borders of our state. Also, we want to point out to the work of the experts from listed fields on affirmation of bh. artistic and traditional folk music, as well as on preservation of intangible cultural heritage with special attention given to legacies which are in possession of Institute for Musicology of Academy of Music in Sarajevo.

8th  Meeting of the ICTM Study Group Maqam

For the first time, Bosnia and Herzegovina had the honour to organize a conference for one of the ICTM study groups. The 8th Meeting of the ICTM Study Group Maqam was held from November 8th to 11th 2012 at the Academy of Music in Sarajevo. Local organizers were the Academy of Music in Sarajevo and the Musicological Society of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. General topic of conference were Historical Traces and Present Practice in South European Music Traditions. Among the special topics were:
1) Between maqām and mode: the intermediate realms (Greece, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania and Central Europe)
2) History of Ottoman music in its expansion in the Mediterranean
3) The role of Sufi brotherhoods for the propagation of the maqām in Western Europe and North Africa.

8th International Symposium “Music in Society”

At the same time, the 8th International Symposium “Music in Society” was held. As in previous years, sessions were organized according to the following fields: musicology, ethnomusicology and musical pedagogy.
Conference and symposium included the following events:
– On November 8th of 2012 at 7pm, a concert of the vocal-instrumental ensemble Etnoakademik was held in the concert hall of the Academy of Music in Sarajevo
– On November 9th of 2012, an exhibition of traditional Bosnian clothes and a presentation of building traditional instruments was held. In the evening there was a concert of groups performing customs and music originating from their areas.
